AstraZeneca — the global pharmaceutical company — occupies a Jakarta office delivered in 2023 together with Design Partner Indonesia, a pharma-grade corporate workplace built around meeting rooms, training rooms, and a town-hall space used for company-wide, often global, communication. ALTA Integra's acoustic design targeted speech intelligibility for both in-person and remote communication — a requirement for an office running global town-halls over video conferencing — alongside a quieter, more controlled sound environment to support concentration work. The scope included studio-grade integration for recording needs, coordinated to support the office's WELL Certification acoustic performance criteria. That combination of uses — open meeting spaces, enclosed training rooms, a recording-capable town-hall studio, and general office floor — meant acoustic treatment had to vary room by room rather than follow one blanket specification: reverberation control and sound isolation tuned to each room's function, background noise kept low enough to meet WELL's acoustic comfort thresholds, and room-to-room sound transmission managed so recording and town-hall activity doesn't leak into adjacent workspaces. For a corporate client running global communication out of a single Jakarta office, that room-by-room acoustic discipline is what keeps a video call, a training session, and quiet desk work coexisting on the same floor.
