WELL Building Standard Consultation
WELL Building Standard
Certification
We help global communities live and work well.

What Is WELL?
The WELL Building Standard is renowned as the first building standard that exclusively focuses on human health and wellbeing with respect to the built environment. In general, the WELL Building Standard encourages healthy eating choices, active lifestyles, and sound mind among the building occupants as well as promotes the adoption of high-performance building design, followed by a healthy choice of building material and green construction management.
The WELL Building Standard is a performance-based rating system for measuring, assessing, and monitoring features of the built environment that has an impact on human health and wellbeing based on scientific, medical, and architectural research.
This framework introduced ten concepts of wellness, each of which comprises a unique design intent. Those concepts are air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind, and community.

With Intensive Research
The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), in collaboration with Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), combines best practices used in design and construction with evidence-based health and wellness intervention to develop this dynamic rating system. The WELL Building Standard is a culmination of more than six years of research and development by leading experts in various disciplines, ranging from medicine, physics, green building to the construction industry.__

What We Do
Our acoustic design team provides services in architectural, building, industrial, and transportation acoustics.
We help clients achieve their aspirations in acoustics by guiding projects from conception and planning through design, construction, testing and commissioning.
Our Design Goal
The starting points from which we address each and every project are always focusing on the goal to deliver the best acoustic experiences based on the client’s needs by taking a human-centric approach.
We then develop the planning fundamentals based on these determining factors. This does not mean, however, that only the optimization of objective acoustic criteria, such as ideal reverberation times, is important.
Our Principles
At the design phase we always consider technical factors coming from other disciplines, like architecture, interior design, lighting, mechanical-electrical engineering, and so-on.
To ensure every detail work at the construction phase is built as planned we collaborate with manufacturers, distributors, construction managers, project managers, and contractors or builders.
Triple Bottom Line
Implementing the WELL Building Standard should be in line with the triple bottom line principle that encompasses three essential elements in achieving a sustainable building design, i.e., people, planet, and profit. ‘People’ here focuses on the impact of the project during construction and the building design itself on the happiness, health, and productivity of the building occupants. Meanwhile, the second element, “planet”, addresses the impact of the project and building operation on the land, air, water, plants, and animals. Last but not least, “profit” focuses on the economic wellbeing of the company, such as how the project is financed and how long the return of investment is.__

Benefits of WELL Certification
Leading organizations around the world have been reaping the benefits of implementing the WELL Building Standard from the investment made in implementing comprehensive and holistic health and wellbeing programs. The WELL Building Standard contributes to the increase in employee engagement, productivity, satisfaction, and health improvement. They realized how important it is to improve employees’ wellbeing as 90% of the business operating cost tends to go to their employees. To thrive in today’s competitive labor market, maintaining employee
retention is essential for businesses and organizations, and the WELL Building Standard is a true investment in this matter.

Our WELL Consultation Team
ALTA Integra team works with clients as well as other project teams to incorporate health and wellbeing measures into design and operations and leads the project team through the WELL certification process.
At ALTA Integra, we have a deep understanding of topics covered in each credit of WELL Building Standard through our in-house expertise, which includes – air quality, circadian lighting design, daylight modeling, thermal, and natural ventilation modeling, acoustic performance, and water quality.
WELL Project Management

Preliminary Design
Through a gap-analysis, we measure to which extent the building and your interior design contribute to the wellbeing and productivity of your employees and where there are opportunities for improvement. We know the mandatory criteria and the required, optional credits for achieving the desired classification: silver, gold, or platinum.

Design Development
We analyze, develop, and coordinate the design strategy for you with advice on how to achieve the seven WELL Concept Pre-Condition and Optimization: air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind, and community.
We deliver an acoustic design that creates not only the best sound quality but also exquisitely blends with the architecture of your worship hall.

Tender & Construction
- Review and submit all documentation needed for WELL Building Certification during the tender and construction phase
- Provide procurement advice, mock-up review, and value engineering design analysis as well if needed
