The Development Finance Comptroller, known by its Indonesian acronym BPKP (Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan), is Indonesia's national government internal auditing and supervisory agency, responsible for oversight of public financial management and development accountability across the country's ministries and institutions. Its mandate covers six core functions, audit, consultation, assistance, evaluation, corruption eradication support, and supervision-related education and training, carried out across ministries, state institutions, and regional governments, putting it at the center of how the Indonesian government verifies that public funds are managed accountably. For BPKP's corporate office building in Jakarta, ALTA Integra's scope spanned acoustic engineering, audiovisual, lighting, and design guidelines: the combination a modern government office needs to support day-to-day audit and consultation work: private, speech-confidential meeting rooms, AV-equipped briefing and training spaces, and lighting and documentation standards kept consistent across the building's offices. The project also worked within the practical constraints of an existing government office building rather than a ground-up design, fitting acoustic, AV, and lighting upgrades into floors and rooms that were already occupied and in daily use. That consistency matters because a supervisory agency's own building carries a particular kind of scrutiny: visiting auditors, ministry counterparts, and training participants pass through its meeting and briefing rooms regularly, making its own office environment a working example of the standards it audits elsewhere. Reliable acoustic and AV performance across those spaces isn't a cosmetic detail, it directly affects whether sensitive discussions stay confidential and whether presented material is actually heard clearly.
