Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
ALTA Integra uses cookies on altaintegra.com to keep the site working, to remember simple choices such as your language, and to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This page explains what those cookies do, who sets them, and the choices you have.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies let a website do things like remember a choice you made on an earlier visit, such as a language preference, keep a session going as you move between pages, and tell the people who run the site how it is being used, for example which pages are viewed and how often.
2. First party and third party cookies
A first party cookie is set directly by the website you are looking at, in this case by altaintegra.com itself. A third party cookie is set by a different company whose code runs on the page you are viewing. On altaintegra.com the third party cookies come from Google, and our hosting provider adds its own traffic measurement, both described in the Analytics and performance section below. Third party cookies are governed by that company’s own privacy policy, not by ALTA Integra’s.
3. Session and persistent cookies
A session cookie is deleted automatically when you close your browser. A persistent cookie stays on your device until it reaches its expiry date or you delete it yourself. Persistent cookies are what let a website recognise you as a returning visitor, for example so it can keep showing you the language you chose on an earlier visit.
4. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies make the site work, and the site cannot be offered without them. They keep your session going as you move from page to page, remember it when you have chosen to read the site in Indonesian, hold the name and email address you gave a design calculator so a result can be emailed to you and you are not asked for them again, and keep site administrators and editors signed in while they work. None of them is used to track you across other websites.
There is no control on this page, or anywhere else on the site, to switch these off individually. The only way to block them is through your own browser settings, see Your choices and how to control cookies below.
5. Analytics and performance cookies
These help us understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow or confusing. They count visits, tell one visitor from another, and record which pages are viewed and how people move through the site. They do not identify you by name.
Two things set them. The first is Google Analytics, described in the next section. The second is a traffic measurement script that our hosting provider adds to every page it serves, which is set by the host rather than by us.
Google’s analytics script does not load at all unless you allow analytics cookies. If you decline, or have not chosen yet, it is never fetched and no Google Analytics cookies are set. The hosting provider’s script is not covered by that control, see section 9.
6. Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is a widely used analytics platform. It measures how many people visit the site, which pages they view, and how they move through it, and gives us aggregate insight into traffic and usage rather than information tied to one identified person. Data collected this way is processed on Google’s servers, including in the United States.
If you would rather Google Analytics did not run in your browser at all, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on that applies across the sites you visit, not only this one.
7. What we do not use
ALTA Integra does not use social media cookies or sharing widgets on this site. We set no targeting or advertising cookies of our own, run no advertising from this site, build no advertising profiles of visitors, and have no advertising partners. No session recording or session replay tool runs on this site.
8. Third parties beyond our control
Google and our hosting provider set and read their own cookies under their own privacy policies. ALTA Integra cannot control what those companies do with cookies once they are set on your device, and this policy can only describe our own use of their tools, not guarantee how those companies behave.
9. Your choices and how to control cookies
When you first visit altaintegra.com you are shown a cookie notice with three choices: allow all cookies, accept only the strictly necessary ones, or open the preferences panel and decide for yourself. Analytics cookies stay off until you turn them on, and declining takes one click, exactly like accepting.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser for 180 days, and clearing your browser cookies resets it.
One thing this control does not cover. Our hosting provider adds its own traffic measurement to every page it serves. It is injected by the host before the page reaches your browser, so this site cannot switch it off and your choice here does not affect it. Blocking it means blocking cookies in your browser.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies yourself, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using the site; it only stops us seeing your visit in our aggregate statistics. For Google Analytics specifically, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on.
For general background on cookies and how to manage them in different browsers, see www.aboutcookies.org and www.allaboutcookies.org.
