PT Bumi Tangerang Cocoa (BT Cocoa) operates one of Indonesia's largest cocoa processing facilities, a processing and warehouse complex in Tangerang. In 2019, ALTA Integra worked on the occupational noise and industrial acoustic design for the facility. The scope addressed noise generated by an active processing and warehouse operation — the kind of continuous equipment noise a large-scale food processing facility produces — from an occupational health angle, working toward noise exposure levels that support worker health over a full working shift, alongside the acoustic conditions of the processing and warehouse environment itself. Industrial acoustic design at this scale treats noise control as a productivity and worker-health issue rather than a compliance afterthought: a factory environment engineered for lower, better-controlled noise levels supports concentration, communication, and safety on the floor, which is the basis ALTA Integra's acoustic scope was built on for BT Cocoa's Tangerang facility.
