The Global Digital Platform's MCC Building in Jakarta, delivered with architect Garde International Japan, is a facility built to run broadcast and recording-studio functions alongside its group meeting spaces. The 2024 project called for meeting rooms able to switch between multiple formats — online and offline group sessions, with a presenter or without one — while also housing dedicated broadcast and recording-studio spaces within the same building, targeting WELL Certification for occupant health and comfort. ALTA Integra's scope covered acoustic engineering and lighting design across the building. For the group meeting spaces, that meant calibrating walls and microphones so speech intelligibility and coverage held up equally whether a session ran in person, remote, presenter-led, or as an open discussion among the whole group — each mode placing different acoustic and gain-structure demands on the same room. The broadcast and recording-studio spaces called for their own acoustic treatment, isolating those rooms from the rest of the building's activity while keeping their internal acoustics suited to production use. Lighting design ran alongside the acoustic work under the same WELL-oriented brief, addressing occupant comfort and visual conditions across the building's meeting, broadcast, and recording-studio spaces. Coordinating both disciplines under one plan let each of the building's room types meet its own technical requirement without the acoustic and lighting systems working at cross purposes with the interior.
