This global bank's Jakarta office, fitted out with an interior design firm, spans a town hall, boardrooms, meeting rooms, and open-plan floors: each with a different acoustic, audiovisual, and lighting requirement. The town hall was designed to expand: a high-STC operable wall separates it from an adjoining music-studio space, and opening that wall lets the room grow for larger gatherings. It runs Cisco Webex video conferencing distributed through a Crestron audio system, with a motorized lift for the projector. Boardrooms and meeting rooms were designed jointly with the interior team around Cisco Webex Telepresence, balancing visual aesthetics, ergonomics, and comfort against speech clarity and maximum acoustic privacy. Across the open-plan office, acoustic zoning was used to cut distraction and protect acoustic privacy for a healthy work environment aligned with Green Mark certification requirements, while the lighting design applied biophilic principles for a workforce whose work depends on precision.
