Infinite Movie Studio in Nongsa, Batam is part of Infinite Studios' production complex, one of Southeast Asia's largest film and animation facilities, working across international movie, television, and streaming productions. Delivered in 2017, the acoustic engineering scope had to serve a studio built to run several different production disciplines through the same rooms rather than a single fixed use. ALTA Integra designed flexible acoustic envelopes able to move between movie production, music recording, foley work, and dubbing without retuning the space each time — the same studio serving different production needs on different days while holding to one neutral acoustic reference throughout. That scope covered both the studio's recording and broadcast integration requirements, treating sound isolation, room acoustics, and reverberation control as a shared foundation across all four uses rather than designing each discipline's space separately. The result is a studio that stays acoustically consistent regardless of which production discipline is running on a given day — supporting Infinite Studios' capacity to serve a mix of movie, music, and post-production work from Batam for an international client base, within a facility also designed to green building standards.
