Kiehl's flagship at Central Park Jakarta was the first project under L'Oreal's Sustainable Retail Box program in Indonesia — a rating framework adapted from the US Green Building Council's LEED and the International WELL Building Institute, scored across six categories: construction and project management, building design and space layout, materials, HVAC, lighting and electricity, and water. ALTA Integra was brought in as the physical-environment partner for the store's lighting and electrical scope. Layered pendant clusters, accent neon, and ambient light carry Kiehl's apothecary character onto the retail floor, built on top of the program's energy and quality requirements: LED fixtures and lighting automation to reduce consumption, per-square-meter electricity metering for daily monitoring, and illuminance, color temperature, and color rendering index tuned to the skincare products on display rather than generic retail lighting. Lux, correlated color temperature, and CRI were measured on site as benchmark data against those targets. Acoustic engineering was the third discipline in ALTA Integra's scope for the store, alongside lighting and the program's green-building framework: retail floors inside a shopping mall need background noise and reverberation control that keep the space calm enough for product consultations and testing, without feeling acoustically dead against the ambient sound of Central Park Jakarta's public areas. Coordinating acoustics with the lighting and electrical scope under one Sustainable Retail Box assessment meant physical-environment performance — sound, light, and energy — was scored and verified together rather than treated as separate line items, consistent with the program's six-category rating structure.
