Mandiri University is Bank Mandiri's training campus in Wijaya Kusuma, West Jakarta — a 4-hectare, WIKA-built, energy-efficient campus with dormitories, financial labs, and sports facilities for Mandiri Group staff and outside financial institutions. ALTA Integra was selected alongside architecture, interior, and landscape lead Duta Cermat Mandiri (DCM) through a 2018 design competition, covering acoustics, lighting, and audiovisual design across the campus's classrooms, lecture halls, auditorium, and lobby. The auditorium had to support lectures, seminars, conferences, presentations, and hybrid/online learning in the same room, so acoustics, lighting, and AV were coordinated as one scope rather than separate disciplines. The acoustic work focused on speech intelligibility, reverberation control, and noise management across varying occupancy; lighting balanced audience comfort and presenter visibility with camera-friendly illumination for streamed sessions; the AV system was built for hybrid learning, live streaming, and multimedia presentation, with acoustic simulation, lighting scene studies, and equipment integration planned together so the technical systems stayed visually discreet within the interior. Separately, ALTA Integra designed the architectural lighting for the university's lobby with DCM. Across the campus, the brief was a learning and living environment that needs comfortable sound and lighting conditions around the clock, with the AV design aimed at keeping lecture material and student engagement working equally well in person and online.
