We model in SketchUp, simulate in DIALux Evo (illuminance, UGR, uniformity, CRI, energy), and communicate intent with photorealistic visualisation in Enscape, Lumion, and V-Ray.

We integrate intelligent control — DALI and BLE — for programmable scenes, dimming, circadian tuning, occupancy sensing, and daylight harvesting, creating adaptive environments that cut energy use while supporting comfort and atmosphere.

Task Lighting

Task lighting design is the right light for the right activity — not just more brightness. Following IES recommended practice, we tune illuminance, contrast, glare (UGR), flicker, and spectral quality to each task's complexity, accuracy needs, viewing distance, and occupancy duration.

Daylighting Design

Daylighting design is one of ALTA Integra's specialist lighting design consultant services — optimising natural light to enhance wellbeing, visual comfort, architectural quality, and energy performance, balancing daylight availability, solar control, glare, and thermal performance to cut reliance on artificial lighting. Daylight is critical to circadian rhythm, cognition, mood, and satisfaction; poorly controlled, it brings glare, heat gain, and cooling load.

Services include daylight simulation, window-to-wall optimisation, solar-penetration and daylight-autonomy studies, shading, skylight and clerestory integration, and LEED/WELL daylight compliance — modelled in Radiance, Ladybug Tools, Honeybee, EnergyPlus, Daysim, and AGi32 (daylight factor, UDI, sDA, ASE, luminance, solar heat gain).

At the façade — the interface between indoor and outdoor — we integrate daylight with acoustic and thermal building physics: optimising daylight access while controlling SHGC, glare, and external noise intrusion, so the envelope performs holistically rather than as isolated parts.

Stage Lighting

Stage lighting design is storytelling — shaping emotion, focus, dramaturgy, spatial perception, and audience engagement, not just visibility. Services span visual scene composition, sightline coordination, performance lighting strategy, fixture coordination, DMX control, AV and multimedia integration, and full design guidelines — supporting flexible performance modes, programmable transitions, and synchronised multimedia while keeping visual clarity and reliability.

We evaluate beam distribution, contrast, CRI, glare, performer modelling, and camera compatibility for both live audiences and broadcast. Scenes are pre-visualised in Vectorworks and WYSIWYG, and framework follows IBC and SMPTE broadcast practice alongside IES and CIE guidance.
