Why It Matters
At city scale, no single building owner is accountable for noise, light pollution, or air quality, the responsibility sits with infrastructure and public-realm decisions instead. Data-driven measurement is the only way to hold that scale of problem to a real standard rather than an assumption.

Methodology
Preliminary study and design criteria, a review of function, occupancy, and adjacencies, setting measurable performance targets before design decisions lock in.
Modelling and simulation, predicting acoustic, lighting, and thermal performance before construction, so trade-offs are visible on screen rather than discovered on site.
Cross-disciplinary coordination, resolving conflicts between acoustics, lighting, AV, and MEP during design, not after each vendor has already signed off separately.
Measurement and commissioning, verifying installed performance with real instruments against the original targets, not just a visual walkthrough.
Standards
Work across this sector group follows recognised international practice, including guidance from the
U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Cities, alongside Indonesian SNI requirements where applicable.

Design decisions across this sector group are modelled before construction, acoustic performance in tools such as CATT-Acoustic and EASE, sound insulation in INSUL and SonArchitect, and lighting performance in DIALux Evo, then verified on site with real instruments such as the NTi XL2/XL3/M2210 and UPRtek/Sekonic light meters, rather than assumed from the design model alone.
